      Physics 104  Physics --Physics of Superheroes

        --- A general introduction to mechanics, electricity,
             magnetism, light, relativity, and quantum theory at
             the conceptual level.

        --- As each physical concept is presented, we consider
             how that concept is used (or abused) in the comic
             book world of the superhero.

        --- We will use the moodle class management system.

        ---The class will be a mixture of lecture and collaborative
            group work.

        --- Special activities will include a visit to the local comic
             book store and an outreach project with the Boys/Girls
             Club of Spartanburg.
