I am curious about the processes by which trace elements (such as arsenic, lead, mercury and uranium) move through soils, sediments and streams. I study them in a variety of environments, with a wide selection of tools.

The rest of the time, I like to hike with my dog, play with clay, cook for friends, and learn what’s going on in the world. I am also an avid Scrabble player.
