The course will be divided into two mini-courses. The first half of the semester will be devoted to systems dynamics modeling using Stella and the second half of the semester will be devoted to cellular automation simulations using Mathematica.

Stella

If you wish to purchase a six-month student license, go to the online store at http://www.iseesystems.com. The cost is about $29.

Stella tutorials can be found at the book website. Visit http://wofford-ecs.org/IntroComputationalScience/_dataFilePages/stella.htm to download the tutorials. We will be using version 9 of Stella. Stella can be found on the Macs in the computer lab in Olin as well as on the Macs in the Biology Computer Lab. Tutorials can also be found on the computers with Stella in the Stella directory.
