This year, I am excited to be joining the exceptionally talented and lively Wofford community. I look forward to teaching a variety of new courses here, including: World Literatures in English; Race, Gender, Empire; the Literature of Witnessing and Human Rights; Fiction and Trauma; the African Novel; African Women Writers; Magical Realism; Travel Writing and Ethics; Critical Theory; Cosmopolitan Metafiction, and the Writing of the Holocaust.
