  I came to Wofford College in 1992 from Knoxville, Tennessee.  My interests include: capital markets (with some interest in mergers and acquisitions), ethical conduct and agency conflict, and the history of financial laws.  I have over ten years of business experience in a variety of functions such as specialized commercial property underwriter in the insurance industry and  financial officer and data processing manager in both a not-for-profit company and a closely held contractor's equipment and supply company in Nashville, Tennessee.  My other interests include sailing, motorcycling, and music.
