Because each health career graduate program requires specific preparation, students must work closely with their health careers advisor to plan a suitable course of study, including classes, clinical internships, etc.

For all of the health careers, those majoring in biology, chemistry, and psychology will have an advantage over those majoring in other fields.  However, many students have gone on to health professions from many other majors, so don't rule this out.  But majoring in another field makes it even more important that you meet with your health careers advisor early on in your career.
