At this learning station the elementary students learned about photosynthesis and the different species of trees along the Lawson's Fork. They also had a blast decorating t-shirts with stencils of real leaves!

To make the leaf stencil, students collected leaves and then used a paint roller to coat the leaf with paint. They then pressed the painted leaves on their shirts to create an impression of the painted leaf! You can see "finished" t-shirts hanging in the background to dry.
