The elementary students enjoyed a scavenger hunt in which they searched for things like insects, seeds, leaves, trash, and lions and tigers (a.k.a., "hidden" beany babies) . They got so enthused about picking up trash that we certainly left the Lawson's Fork cleaner than when we arrived!

A "scavenging" group with Barry and Chris Dawson (in the background).   Barry gives his approval of all the cool stuff in this bag!

Happy "high fives" indicate the mood of the day!   Josh Whitley's team is feeling good!
Here, Alan Eisenman, Chris and Barry look on as the kids excitedly dig up what they were sure was a "hidden treasure." It turned out to be the top of an abandoned metal storage tank, but it was great fun to imagine the gold and jewels that might have been there.
