On September 27th we explored Lake Jocassee in the Northwest corner of South Carolina. We left the Wofford campus at 8:00 a.m. and drove two hours through some of South Carolina's most beautiful scenery. Upon arrival at Devil's Fork State Park, we met Ed Daugherty, the director of Davidson Outdoors at Davidson College. He brought two 27' Voyager canoes for us to paddle across the lake. This trip marked our first opportunity for us to bond as a community of learners.
