The grades will be determined based on the percentage of points you earned out of the total available.  For example, 93-100% is typically an A, 90-92% is an A-, 87-89% is a B+, etc.

 

*We value active participation and positive attitude during discussions, field activities, trips, etc.! Therefore, consistency in this area can elevate your final score by half a letter grade. Lack of participation and poor attitude can similarly hurt your grade. We will all learn from each other in this learning community, so if you don't share your knowledge and opinions, the rest of us are cheated. Be assured, you have much to teach and contribute to the group, and we want you to realize it!
