One of the largest employers within the central city of Spartanburg, Wofford College has 350 full-time and over 70 part-time employees. The human resources office in Snyder House is responsible for developing appropriate policies and procedures and managing an array of benefit programs.
During the fall term of 2008, there were 113 full-time teaching faculty members at Wofford; over 90 percent of them have earned a doctoral degree. Alumni of more than 50 different graduate schools (including Harvard, Yale, Notre Dame, and Johns Hopkins) are currently members of the Wofford community.
