Wofford College Planeteers History
The Planeteers history is steeped in mystery and the fog of time. But this much is for certain: the group was formed out of the desier to make the world a better place, and we stay true to that mission today. As for the specifics, the original impetuous was our first president attending a social justice conference in Chicago. After returning she was so full of ideas she confered with her good friends Nathan Smith and Zach Chillag and we all felt that the environmentalists on campus had no place to gather and discuss their ideas. So the Planeteers was formed as a way to give space for people to express a side of themselvs that previously had no place on campus. The nature lover in all of us was now free! Here is a little list of our past presidents.
RAVE ON THE GRAVE
The biggest, baddest, concert to ever hit Wofford College went down this Halloween on October 30. This was the first of what will be a yearly Halloween recycling party. Check out the pictures Here!
